How I Met Your Mother

Thanksgiving gets me thinking about what I am thankful for, and one thing I am thankful for is TV. When watching TV you are able leave your life and enter a whole new world where you can see other peoples problems, achievements, struggles etc. I have just finished the catching up on all the seasons of How I Met Your Mother. My favorite to episodes are both in the 2nd season and one is called "Stuff" and "Showdown". Tell me current show obsession and favorite episodes.

Celebrities

I try very hard to seperate the on-screen from the off-screen. I have just noticed that there have been so many celebrity break-ups. Maybe something is in their imported bottled water from France. Lets just name a few at the moment: Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman, Penn Badgley and Blake Lively, Courtney Cox and David Arquette,...oh and Miley Cyrus' parents. Two out of the four were actually some of my favorite couples. I just hope it doesn't spread to January Jones and Jason Sudeikis (it's the merging of my two favorite shows). Just taking a break from my usual tv talk. If you are actually reading this, go ahead and follow me (I will follow you) or comment!!!

Rally to Restore Sanity

Yours truly will be attending the Rally to Restore Sanity. It is just my luck that I live close to the D.C. area because if I didn't I would be trolling Youtube trying to get some clips of it all. I am not sure though if we will be able to attend because I have never gone to a rally before but on the website it says first come first serve. I know that there are some very dedicated fans out there that will waiting until 6 o'clock that morning so I just hope i will get a decent view when I get there around 11. My friend and I will be making Team Sanity t-shirts which I am surprisingly excited to wear. I am thinking of puting "I put my opinion on my shirt to not obstruct your view" on the back and on the front is just going to be Team sanity 10.30.10 in the upper left (or right) corner. So excited!!

Mad Men: "The Suitcase" Episode

This, I could say, is probably one of my favorite or my favorite episode of Mad Men ever. For me, it was the perfect mix of humor and sensitivity. I have been a big supporter of Peggy and Pete together and there was a little glimpse of that when Peggy came out of the bathroom. Even though it was a little bit of a bipolar episode, I just absolutely adore how Peggy and Don's relationship (as platonic friends) is getting much stronger. I feeling that, not only me, but a bunch of other Mad Men fanatics loved the episode is because there seems to be a light at the end of the road for once. And I hope they don't bring Duck back......

Summer Shows

I am not that into summer television but I do watch a couple which are Wipeout, Mad Men (just premiered!), the current Bachelorette, and the current season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Basically I watch 75% crap television during the summer (#27 I hate the summer), but it all makes up for Mad Men because that was my first drama that I LOVED! I just love that era, it was probably the greatest turning point in culture movements (television was starting to get popular). Who ever created the ideal picture of summer must have really wanted everyone's brain to turn to mush, I mean with all of the crappy shows and the absence of school. I just can't wait until September.

P.S. I was on Hulu, watching the Bachelorette and I look down to the tags and its says: lame and fake...just thought that was hilarious

The A-Team

I recently saw the A-Team and it was probably the best action movie i've seen this year. My favorite character was Murdock. Everybody always loves the amusing funny one. I think the part where Jon Hamm popped up at the end was the most surprising. It seems like at the end of the movie that it was supposed to be a cliffhanger and I am excited. But I am kind of worried because it really didn't do that well on the opening night so they might not continue....

CW Finales

Since every show is coming to a close for the summer, finales are getting more and more juicier. Now I don't love everything the CW produces but I do, however, like 90210 and the occasional Gossip Girl. I haven't really been keeping up with the episodes every week but with the help of Yidio, I am able to see every episode. And with that being said I think that the finales have been more over the top than any finale I have ever seen. With 90210 it was confessing murder, boy jealousy, boats on fire, boys beating up the crippled, Australia dreams being shattered, and rape. Also again with Gossip Girl a pregnancy, (that being said) a new baby, a move to a new school, breakups, and a shooting. It seems as if the CW is really trying to bring drama to a whole new level.
